1928 Bean Short 14 car1928 Bean Short 14 car. Bean were among the many firms who tried to challenge Austin and Morris as mass producers in the 1920s. Never approaching their target of 50,000 cars a year, low production meant higher, less competitive prices. The saloon body is typical of the heavy type of coachwork offered before pressed steel construction became the norm. This example was made during Bean's penultimate season.

Fine Collection
Format: Paperback
A fine and accessible collection of poems that capture its time period and themes effectively. These poems are not for the faint of heart and will require some digging to fully enjoy but for what they are, Brooks is a genius. If you can't read them all please do read Sadie and Maud.
